About the Artist

Mark Burt is a self-taught and traditionally trained artist. Born in 1973 in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
Mark took to art as soon as he was able to hold a crayon.  Years of artistic expression made it clear that Mark's life would be centered upon his passion for art. After high school, Mark attended Sheridan College then onto Algonquin College where he excelled in Animation.  Working as an animator in Toronto, ON. Mark decided to further his education and passion changing direction to attend the International Academy of Design and study Graphic Design.  Using his new skills, Mark found employment at Future Stars Sports Photography in Stoney Creek, ON. working as the Creative Director.  Mark proudly maintains that position today. 

Mark's passion for business and strong entrepreneurial skill has allowed him to run his own design company, Burtdog Designs.  It is now in it's 6th year of operation.  Constantly growing and developing Burtdog Designs has a strong client base.  Mark still lives in Burlington and is heavily involved in many local associations.

There are never too many challenges for this young rising star.  Keep your eyes open,
Burtdog Designs plans on opening many eyes for years to come.
